Hackers were able to jailbreak the iPad and gain root access.
The iPad was only able to survive a day before hackers were able to break into it and gain root access using an exploit in Safari, reports PCWorld.com. While jailbreaking will allow a user to put their own software on the device, they sacrifice warranty and OS updates.
