Brocade, A10 Networks and BlueCat Networks have joined the initiative.

VeriSign says more Internet infrastructure providers have signed up to its DNSSEC Interoperability Lab initiative, which will help ensure that providers' equipment and applications can support the new protocol. According to V3.co.uk, Brocade, A10 Networks and BlueCat Networks have joined the initiative.

As the article notes:

DNSSEC authenticates the origin of data as it moves across the internet, protecting against man-in-the-middle, cache poisoning and other DNS-related security threats.

DNSSEC got a boost last week when .org became the first generic Top Level Domain to deploy the protocol.
