QTS Expands Footprint of Santa Clara Data Center

QTS announced that it has expanded its Santa Clara facility, offering Silicon Valley businesses up to an additional 70,000 square feet of data center space.

QTS (Quality Technology Services) expanded its Santa Clara, Calif. facility an additional 70,000 square feet. The newly expanded data center offers up to 15 megawatts of power, reports Data Center Knowledge.

The buildout comes with an additional injection of $25 million from private equity firm General Atlantic. The firm previously invested $150 million in QTS. The expansion also underscores growing market demand in the Silicon Valley region.
