Sergei Tsurikov is facing a variety of hacking and fraud charges.

According to an IDG News Service article on The New York Times, Sergei Tsurikov, 26, of Tallinn, Estonia, one of the alleged masterminds of an attack on payment processor RBS WorldPay, will be extradited to the U.S. He is facing a variety of hacking and fraud charges.

As we reported last February, hackers broke into RBS's databases and took personal and financial data on 1.5 million customers of its payroll cards business. They used that information to withdraw $9 million from ATMs from 49 cities.

Tsurikov is one of eight people indicted by the Department of Justice for the fraud. He is the first to be extradited to the U.S.
